PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Brendan J. Malley, of Pearl River, died Tuesday, June 28 at his home. He was 80.
Malley was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Jersey City, N.J., to James Malley and Anna Brady, serving in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War and working for Allstate Insurance as an insurance agent in New York City.
Malley was predeceased by his parents; wife Maureen (nee Walsh); and brother James.
He is survived by two sons, Brendan and his wife Lynn and Peter and his wife Celeste; a daughter, Kristin Zimny and her husband Paul; two sisters, Anna Mae Quinn and Eileen Kelly; and two brothers, Kenny and Kevin.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 11 at St. Aedan’s R.C. Church, 23 S. Reld Drive, Pearl River.
Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet.
